1. Is seating assigned on the motorcoach?
Yes, seating is assigned in the order of reservation. The earlier you reserve, the closer you will be towards the front of the motorcoach. All passengers within a group will be seated in the same general area of the motorcoach if they are under the initial reservation.
2. Does the motorcoach have a restroom?
Yes, all of our motorcoaches have restrooms.
3. Is smoking or drinking alcohol permitted on the motorcoach?
Smoking and the consumption of alcoholic beverages is strictly prohibited on all of our tours.
4. Do I need to make advanced reservations?
Yes, advanced reservations are necessary. Reservations may be made by calling or visiting our office.
5. When is my payment due?
Day Tours
A deposit will be required 7 days after making your reservations. If deposit is not received within the time period described, we reserve the right to remove your name from the tour you have requested, without notification. Balance is due one month prior to the departure date unless otherwise specified by a payment plan.
Overnight Tours
A non-refundable deposit will be required 7 days after making your reservations. All overnight and extended tours will have a payment plan. The payment due dates that are indicated on the plan must be acknowledged to continue holding your reservations. Insurance and Payment Plan information is mailed to you upon confirmation of your reservation.
6. How do we make our payments?
Personal checks, cashier's checks, or money orders should be made payable to C&R Tours.
For reservations received less than 15 days prior to deparutre, payment muct be recieved in the form of cash, money order or credit card. A $20 charge will be issued for any checks that are returned to us by the bank.
7. Do you offer travel insurance?
As a convenience to our tour patrons who have booked tours with us, we offer the comfort of travel insurance for both single day and multiple day tours through our affiliation with the Travel Safe and Travel Guard insurance companies. These plans protect you and your travel investment if you need to cancel your trip for covered reasons prior to departure or if other covered unforeseen circumstances would arise either before or during your trip. We suggest purchasing your traveler's insurance when making your ititial deposit. Please contact our office for further information.
8. What are your cancellation/refund policies for Day Tours?
CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY
There will be NO REFUNDS for any show or tour where
tickets have been purchased in advance by C & R Bus Tours.
C & R Bus Tours will make every attempt to re-sell the seat,
but NO REFUNDS will be paid if not all seats have been sold.
One day tours that no ticket sales are involved are fully
refundable if cancelled prior to 30 days or more prior to the
departure date.
Cancellations received 8 to 29 days prior to the departure
date will receive $25.00 cancellation fee less any monies
paid in your behalf.
Cancellations 7 days, or less, of the departure date will NOT
be refunded
9. What are your cancellation/refund policies for Overnight Tours?
CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY
If you must cancel a trip for any reason, a $50.00 per person
cancellation fee will be charged. If cancellation occurs 60
days or more prior to the departure date, the balance is
fully refundable.
If cancellation occurs 60 days or less prior to the tour, the
tour member will forfeit the original deposit PLUS any non-
recoverable expenses. Cancellations made the day of the
tour or passengers who do not arrive for the scheduled
departure time will result in a loss of the total amount of
the tour.
C & R Bus Tours highly recommends third party travel
insurance to protect your travel investment but at the
current time we are unable to assist you with any of this
insurance information
10. Does C&R ever cancel tours?
We try to maintain a tour as long as we can.
11. Does C&R cancel due to bad weather?
Our tours will depart on time unless roads are closed due to severe weather conditions. In addition, tours such as beach destinations, New York City Free days and other outside events go rain or shine. Please be prepared for such weather conditions.
You will be notified if we choose to cancel one of our tours.
12. Can we bring food, beverages and personal items on the motorcoach.
Yes, you may bring food and non-alcoholic beverages on our motorcoaches. There is an overhead luggage space available for your personal items. C&R Tours and Transportation, Inc. is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
